Are you hiding your talent?
Hi everyone, Angus Pryor here, the number one Google ranked Dental Marketer and practice growth specialist.
Now today, I’m in the Philippines in a place called Dumaguete. And I have just walked out of, I guess, a gift shop where there was a girl behind the counter, and there were lots of paintings and so on. And I said, are any of these paintings here, yours? And she was like, oh, no, no, I, you know, none of them are. And I said, Are you an artist? And she said, Yes, I am. And she proceeded to open a book that she had and showed me all of the drawings that she’d done. And she was very good. And I was like, why aren’t you publishing? And she’s like, Oh, no, you know, I will one day but I just haven’t got around to it. So she’s working in an art, like, a shop that sells art. She’s got the skill, but she’s hiding her talent.
Now, for many of my clients, they’re healthcare professionals. And one of the things that’s great about being a healthcare professional is that while there’s a whole bunch of science there, there are elements of art, for example, the dentists watching this, I consider, and I gather, you do too what you do to be sort of part science and part art. But here’s the problem like the girl I’ve just spoken to who’s got all this skill? If no one’s ever heard of you, then you’re never going to be able to share your gift, aren’t you? You know, I’m reminded of Robert Kiyosaki. That’s the Rich Dad, Poor Dad guy. And he says about himself, I’m not the best author. I’m just the best market author and I believe he’s the biggest seller of business books of all time. So are you hiding your art? Yes, it’s great that you’ve got that skill and you owe it to yourself into the world to share that. But part of that means you’re going to get the need to get serious about your marketing now if you’d like some assistance with that, please visit the website. We’ll come up in a minute and let’s have a chat.
Alright, see you next time.
