This week on Winning In Business, Angus Pryor Number one Google-ranked dental marketer in Australia and Practice Growth Specialist will be sharing with you about your business. If everything changed, would you still do the same things for your business now?
Would you still do that? Now look, I have recently moved house and believe it or not these waggon wheels, you’re seeing in the background, there are part of what we’ve got at our new house, which is great. We’re out in the country. Terrific. But it just got me to thinking about something.
One of the exciting things about moving I say exciting, is that lots of stuff changes does not end, for example, because I’ve moved some distance from where I was before, then I’ve got to find a new doctor, a new dentist, you know, a new physio, a new hairdresser. The list goes on and on.
And the question I found myself wondering, that’s a good question for us to consider in business and in life is, you know, the the current arrangements that we’ve got, if we moved and sort of moved back again, if everything changed, and you sort of walk there quite slight clean? Would you still do that now for your business?
Here’s one to think about. I mean, if you’re, if your business let’s imagine, you know, God forbid, a meteor lands on the roof of your business completely flattens the price might be something less dramatic. And you’ve got to build the whole thing from scratch. Would you employ the same people again? Because if the answer’s no, then it begs the question, well, what am I doing there? Now?
You know, whatever services that you’re offering, would you keep using the same one again, would you still do that? Now I look at these wagon wheels are a fun backdrop, but they’re also a bit of a metaphor, you see, because, you know, I suppose at some point in the past, these would have been attached to some kind of vehicle and that would have been great.
But then, 10 years down the track, you say, well, would you still do that? And of course, you know, it’s only a matter of time until vehicles like this simply don’t exist, because something is better. But I think it’s a really important question for us to ask. You don’t need to move house to do it. It’s just a question of in various areas of our life in our business, would I still do that?
Now look, would you like a hand with your business, I’ve got a brand new programme, which is “5 Mistakes That Every Aussie Dentist Makes Trying To Attract High Quality Patients“.
