This week on Winning In Life, Angus Pryor the #1 Google-ranked dental marketer in Australia will be sharing with you about the decisions you make – the pain of taking action and moving forward or the pain of regret?
Which of these two pains do you choose? In this case, the pain of a broken finger, or the pain of sticking your finger in there. Now look, I was reading something recently, it was a quote from Jim Rohn, you might have heard of him, sort of personal development expert. And this is what he said. You can choose from one of two panes, you can choose from the pain of taking action, or the pain of regret. It’s interesting, isn’t it?
When you think about, you know, if you’re looking back at any part of your life, whether it’s a few weeks time, a few months time, a few years time, I quote from a director with said, you know, the only things you regretted the decision to you didn’t make it, it tends to be that we should be making a decision and moving forward. But sometimes we just don’t want to because we don’t want to get out of our comfort zone.
So it’s really it’s a tough choice. But that’s the reality. It’s, do you choose the pain of taking action and moving forward? Or you do do choose the pain of regret, or hope for you that it’s the first one and be aware that you know, after the pain of taking action? In fact, there can be a real dopamine release, because you realise that you’ve done something that you’ve never done before, even though it was uncomfortable at the time. All right, well, that’s it for me, a little gift for you. We’ve got a free digital magazine called dental edge keeping you at the cutting edge of dentistry.
