You know, for the last few months, we’ve been working very closely with a lot of different practices in all aspects of their business, their nonclinical stuff that clinical’s your side. And I shouldn’t be surprised, but I am shocked, by the way that so many practices are handling their telephone and the amount of money that has been lost by practice doing this every day of the week. How do I know? Firstly, we are doing some work with an offshoring team where if the phone is not answered after say three or four rings, then it goes across to the offshoring team. It is common for the offshoring team to be answering between 30 and 40 calls a week. Now, not all of them are new patients, but some of them are. And on the flip side, we know from our own efforts and trying to contact practices, now we ring the phone, and the phone goes through unanswered. I just need you to understand the numbers for this because for me, this is just madness. It’s like if you’ve got a new patient, this is what’s happening in 2024. They look you up you know, they check you out. They go into Google, it’s like well, let’s call first on the list, which might be your practice. And if they call and you don’t answer, yes, you might have a voicemail. If you don’t answer they’ll often just go down to the second practice on the list. Okay, every time you miss any call you potentially missing out on 1000s of dollars in dentistry, for example, the median spend per patient per year is about $500. And the median tenure is about four years that’s $2,000 worth of in business being lost by missing one call. As I said when we’ve got team members that are doing those overflow calls, let’s say the phone rings three or four times then it goes to one of the offshore team members 30 to 40 calls a week like 150 to 200 calls a month. And even if only 10% of those are from new patients. That is literally 10s of 1000s of dollars that practice are leaving on the table.
