This week on Winning In Business, Angus Pryor the #1 Google-ranked dental marketer in Australia will be sharing with you the one thing you need to do to build a thriving practice.
Did you see that? Right in there is our wallaby. Now I don’t know if you know anything about wallabies, but they are animals that basically live by themselves. They’re a smaller version of the kangaroo. Kangaroos, on the other hand, tend to hang out in packs. And this begs the question, Are you a wallaby or are you a kangaroo? Now in a business sense, this is what I’ve learned. Nobody is very successful in business doing it by themselves.
I met a dentist once who did everything themselves. I mean, they answer the phone, they cleaned up and guess what they had a terrible business. I know the hand the most thriving businesses that I’ve ever seen. It’s like a pack of kangaroos where they’ve got different people working together for a common goal. And they grow some either it’s like most people I speak to it’s not as though they don’t have any help at all. But sometimes they restrict themselves they restrict their circle like they are a wallaby going alone, instead of being you know around here I saw a pack recently of 40 Kangaroos.
Can you imagine building your business that big you can only do when you getting that help? Sometimes that’s about hiring help to help you and you’re doing things you shouldn’t be, sometimes bad getting external help consultants and so on. So my question for you is are you a wallaby or are you a kangaroo?
