I hit a wallaby at 60 kilometres an hour!

Hi everyone, Angus Pryor here, multi award winning practice growth specialist. I just bashed my garage door first take of this. It’s true last week driving home around us; I live in the country. I hit a wallaby, and I bashed in good. And, you know, the truth is I love wallabies. They’re beautiful animals. And I was quite distressed to do it. You know, driving along, dusk, lights are on, bounce, bounce, bounce, bang, I went back and looked for him. I couldn’t find him. And I’m going to assume unfortunately, he’s hopped away, probably ended up dying afterwards. But that’s not the point of my story.

On this occasion, this is the first time I have made a claim an insurance claim on a car accident and like literally decades, I can’t think the last time I did it. And I’ve been dealing with budget direct, and I have to say they’ve been amazing. I’m really shocked. They’ve called me so many times to make sure I’m okay. Not any kind of, you know, they hadn’t been hounding me. But they’ve been really caring. And the process has been really clear. They’ve communicated with me by email, by text by the telephone. And I’m shocked at how good the service has been. Now, the point of my message here is that when somebody goes through something difficult like a kind of a trauma, you know, in health care, that’s a big deal often, isn’t it? If you can go just that little extra, people are so appreciative, and they’ll end up telling their friends far more when you get them out of a crisis. Unfortunately, that wallaby, I’m pretty sure that’s the end of them. I went back and look, and I couldn’t find him. But for patients who you know, they haven’t died, but maybe they’ve had some kind of trouble if you can go that extra yard, you can make really loyal fans of them. See you next time.
