What’s your hourly rate?
Hi everyone. Angus Pryor here, Australia’s number one Google ranked dental marker.
Now I’ve spent all day today, believe it or not, let’s call it approximately eight hours working on one project. And it would have been very tempting for me, you know, indeed, you know, at times, I was like, oh, I better check my email, I better check social media or whatever. But the fact is, I knocked this project out. And the result is that what I’ve created is, what for us is a $2,000. product. And realistically, I would expect over the coming years, I’m probably going to sell 50 to 100 of those and other words, maybe I’m going to make 50,000 from it 100,000, maybe a couple 100,000 from it. And like the dollars and cents that are in the image here. The question is like, what is some coins? What is your hourly rate, because sometimes what happens is we end up focusing on those things that are probably five or $10 an hour activities where we really should be given to someone else. So, we can do that stuff right up the top that only we can do. Now, for me this particular thing. I mean, the reality is I’ve done more than 10,000 hours of consulting now. And so, as a result of that, I was able to dump all of that into a training course and there’s some other things that we’re doing. And we can charge that premium because I know that it’s worth it. And there’s a lot of value there. But that was only possible because of the focus. You know, I read a book recently called 10x is easier than to x 10x is easier than 2x. And what they said is if you want to 10x your effectiveness, what you’ve got to do is get rid of the bottom 80% of what you do. So, my question to my friends is very simple. What is your hourly rate?
See you next time.
